Privacy Policy

Properly Closed ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered contract analysis tool for real estate professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's OAuth service.

Contract documents: PDF files you upload for analysis. These are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage and processed by our AI pipeline to extract dates, parties, and contingencies.

Device information: Push notification tokens from your device, used solely to deliver deadline reminders.

Payment information: We do not collect or store payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which operates under its own privacy policy.

Contract PDFs are processed by Google Cloud AI services (Document AI for OCR and Gemini for data extraction) to identify key dates, parties, contingency deadlines, and financial terms.

Extracted contract data is stored in your account and used to power the timeline view, contingency tracking, and deadline reminder notifications.

We use your email address to communicate service-related updates. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your uploaded contracts and extracted analysis data remain in your account until you delete them or close your account.

When you delete your account, all associated data including contracts, analysis results, and notification preferences is deleted within 30 days.

We use the following third-party services to operate Properly Closed:

• Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, cloud storage, AI processing, push notifications
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Contract files are stored with access controls that restrict them to the uploading user. We follow Google Cloud security best practices for our Firebase and Cloud Functions infrastructure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also delete your account directly from the app settings.
